Recent award: Alfredo Cabrera Sportswear Award at the 2011 Pratt Fashion Show

Wearing: Dress she made for finale of the fashion show and matching braided headband; her fave whistle necklace from Madewell, handbag and wedges also from Madewell—“I love their accessories;” braided leather belt from Anthropologie, J. Crew socks

Personal style: “I like putting on layers and playing with accessories, such as a belt, jewelry, socks, etc. My color palette is mostly toned-down colors, but it doesn't mean I’m afraid of wearing colors."

Fave shades for spring: “I'm very into Bohemian style with light and faded-out colors, like ivory, pale blush, and grey.”

Style icons: “Anyone can be my style icon, as long as they stimulate my styling ideas. For example, I saw a girl on the street in SoHo, and I still can't forget the image of her look. In New York, there are so many fashionable people who can leave a strong impression.”

Designers she adores: Alber Elbaz, John Varvatos, Rag & Bone, Proenza Schouler, Celine, and Marni

Greatest design inspiration: “When I design, I start with setting a mood of inspiration. Music gives me a boost. Most of the time, I get inspired by textures and colors of our surroundings, such as surfaces of buildings, plants, overlapping lights, or ripples on water.”

Greatest design achievement: “The 2011 Pratt Fashion Show! It's also my senior thesis.”

Where she hopes to be in a year from now: “If I will be working, then I would like to stay in New York. But, if I will be on vacation, I would love to be in Ireland or Provence.”
